Ersari sitting rug. I do not know much about these small rugs. Sitting rugs, some say. A fair enough suggestion, I think – why not? I do know they are very rare. In 15 years I have only seen this one and that piece mentioned in my Favourites section, from Rippon Boswell & Co auctioneers. The colours glow, something you will see in this outdoor image. I did not have the option “outdoors” when getting help from my daughter photographing my collection!
