This chuval has been with Solak in Turkey. It has been cleaned and restored, ugly field repairs are gone and sides tidied up. Now I would not spend that much on restorations, but I was still learning. It is a very pretty 16 gul chuval, I think. It has a lovely lighter blue – same hue front and back, before you ask! The picture does not capture this… First half 19th C..? Seller mentioned it has been in the Amos collection (later I got his book, and of course you will have it if you buy this beauty…)
