This Kizil Ayak chuval is an early purchase of mine, in 2010 to be exact, as early as it gets. It is fun to think of now how soon I became fascinated by turkmen weavings. I must have, subconsciously, memorized it looking through Werner Loges book, Turkmenische Teppiche. A sibling is on page 130-131. That one and mine are almost identical in size!
