Another classic, flamsk weave, The Lion within a Wreath. This is old and rug friend Peter Willborg helped me date it. His estimate was around 1830. Comparing to other lions, I notice the bright and curly mane of this Lion, next to its claws! It may be a half agedyna (åkdyna in Swedish, a larger elongated cushion type used for the carriage). The back is probably not original?
