I am not sure about this – is it Tekke, Kizil Ayak or Ersari..? It is worn, has holes and ugly repairs and is dusty… would you like to transform it into a clean piece, please? It does have a striking design, and a very old feel to it. Would look great on a wall. I never learned how to clean a rug, but many turkoman collectors I know do their own cleaning – go for it! A little backing where it is most worn will do.
