Ningxia rug – isn’t it pretty? Some of the very ancient ones are insanely beautiful… sadly beyond my reach… I bought this from trusted ebay seller and he dates it to 1850 – old enough for me. There are whimsical dragons appearing there in the field, and lovely ducks in the center medallion. Next to that I love that apricot colour!
