This very pretty little Afshar has been crossing oceans more than once… My collector friend thought it to be “best of type”! He compared it to similar Afshar little sitting rugs in NERS, Vff newsletter, Vol 29, No 1, January/February 2022. It used to be with Eberhart Herrmann, known for his fine collection and catalogues. I fell for the border, so pretty! Maybe you do too? It is in fine condition. Mid 19th C.
