Karagashli rugs are of a very special kind, and with this particular design also very sought after. And you can understand why – bang, boom, beautiful! Dated by dealer to 1800-1850 and through him partly restored and mounted on linen. It comes with a story: I bought it in 2017 but had noticed it a few years earlier… small English auction, in somewhat troubled condition… alas, one that I simply forgot about… All the more happy to find it again!
