Well, this must be exciting for Swedish textile lovers out there! The fine looking piece is ex Peter Willborg. He calls it a bench cover but is it not too short and too wide for that..? I am only thinking aloud… It is a genuine ancient artefact and it is rarely found. Until… I found it´s sibling, the missing part of a pair! You can tell by the images it remains in unrestored condition unlike Peter’s sample which is beautiful… original condition or taken care of I do not know. It is very old. First half 18th C… Original Willborg receipt available.
