A magnificent rya, and I should know better… but I have never seen one with uncut loops?! It is a heavy beauty and it comes with a date, 1843. Not a piece from Scania, but from the West coast, Bohuslän. There is a chapter about this type in Vivi Sylwan’s book, my collector friend says. A simple yet stunning design, that center “medallion” draws me right in..! I love it.
