I bought two Tekke torbas from the same seller. I found that in this torba it was difficult to get the colours right. This one has baby duck yellow! In all a very fine mid 19th C Tekke torba. You can remove the hanging loops, of course. The main reason I may keep the other one is because it paid a visit to Istanbul… My collector friend later told me The Rug University has high tuition fees… I learned something!
