Everybody soon learns that six gul Tekke torbas are desirable. This one is a little odd, and I am not sure whether that is good or bad. I went for it because it is strikingly simple, just that sky blue in the guls. But look at the guls again. They “ascend”. I mean that they vary in size which adds to that which some call “float”. I think someone in the know should give it a good clean! It seems “smoked” which I recently learned is maybe just old grime and washed it will look beautiful… It has the softest feel to it… Early to mid 19th C..? I have no idea on this one…
